Redfield shop robbed at knifepoint - for sweets

POLICE want to trace this man after a shop worker in Redfield was robbed at knifepoint – for sweets.

The incident happened yesterday at around 11.20am at a shop in Church Road.
An Avon and Somerset police spokesperson said a man walked into the shop and "threatened a member of staff with a knife before stealing sweets".

Police say the man they are looking for is white, in his late 20s or early 30s, with scruffy facial hair.
He was wearing a dark hat, a patterned face covering, dark sunglasses, a long black coat and dark trousers.

He rode off on a dark coloured bike.
Police have called on anyone who recognises the man or has any other information which could help their inquiry to call 101 and quote the crime reference number 5220 149 487.
